adidas TECHFIT PowerWEB Give 100% Get More

Is that Ducktape on you tight? It's a common question here is the answer. I only use ducktape whenIi Kidnap someone ;) This is what I have on my tights and shirts.

The new TechFit Powerweb uses strategically designed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) bands to provide wearers with greater power and explosiveness. Compression technology, which involves wrapping muscles in tight fitting fabric, has been proven to to help with proprioception and body awareness, which means better form and technique. It also provides reduced muscle vibration, improved muscle recovery and less wear and tear during workouts. The TPU bands are anchored at key points and are focused on key muscle groups such as the upper legs and shoulders. The bands work in unison with the muscles and function like springs. When an athlete moves, one set of muscles contracts while an opposite set extends; the bands mimic this, stretching on the extension side to store elastic energy. When the process is reversed and the extended muscles contract, the bands snap back to their shorter length, providing an athlete with more power. In controlled laboratory tests, conducted together with the University of Calgary, an average 5.3 percent improvement in power output and 1.1 percent faster sprint time was measured over 30 meters. Even more impressive, the testers registered a 1.3 percent reduction in oxygen consumption while wearing TechFit with Powerweb - a clear indication that the onset of fatigue is delayed and that performance is enhanced.

I believe that technology can give you a little bit extra.

Interview with www.losseveter.nl

I had an Interview with the track and Field website http://www.losseveter.nl(losseveter/ = loose lace)

‘Wigert is professioneel. Of andersom.

Week two Medical tests!

Today I had a medical test. right after a speed endurance training I raced to the medical sports facility top speed. I had to fill in an application of 14 pages there where a lot of NO's iIhad to write it felt like I wrote a whole Lord of the rings book. after that I had to turn in a urine sample. pissing in a little cup is so.............. ok next subject lol. after that I had an Eye test my eyes where fine. Only i'm colorblind. I said oohww that makes everything clear i always see things black and white. No just kidding it isn't that bad. I had to watch a page in a book containing bubbles in different colors and then you should see a number in the bubbles. The dr. said ok which number do you see? I was like ehm 36 she laughed at me and said no it's 11. I wanted to put some black shades on and go sit behind a piano and sing stevie wonder songs. But yes i'm colorblind. and no my world is not black and white. after that they measured my bodyfat percentage that was good it was 7,8% thats good for me cause I had a month of rest. And I ate a lot of fat stuff and ofcourse Haribo gumbears(and gumbears are the best invention since women). after that they measured my weight and my size(body size :P) and yes i'm small. tell me something I dont know lol. after that I had a Lungfunctiontest and a they made a Heartfilm(guess what I got a heart and it's beating too aint't that a B**ch). and they took some blood. The results will come out in 2 or 3 weeks. after that I had to go to the national doctor of the athletics federation. and he did some more test. OOWW OWW before I forget it. My right leg is half a centimeter shorter than my left leg isn't that cool? The end result of the test is I'm healthy. My right leg is longer and my world is black and white. After that I had 3 hours of rest rest and watched a funny video with Anouk. Check it out hahaha that's a messed up song lol

and after that we had a weight training session. Look at the pictures (thanks Lorri!!!)

And i Had a Interview With www.losseveter.nl Coming Soon!

First week

i got my first trainingweek behind me. And woow this is something different. totally different of what i was used to. I guess that is good. the first trainingsessions where pretty easy but saturday session was like an Al Quida trainingcamp. never ran longer than 300m at a training well this time I had to run 300m and 500m thats half a kilometer . I was like damn this is some Kenenisa Bekele SH** It was that Rocky 1 2 3 4 5 stuff after the Running session we did some Circuit training. containing exercises of 30 seconds and 10 seconds of Rest. after that we went to play a game of Basketball but guess what? we where only allowed to pass not to run or dribble with the ball, so i could'nt do my Allen Iverson, Wilt chamberlain stuff. But maybe next time! :D

When I got Home I went to Sleep and slept from 4PM untill 8PM and then i ate something watched a movie and went to sleep untill 9am next morning!! I'll get used to it after a few months!

New coach, new teammates, new goals

HI Girls,Guys and everything between :P(heey Track & Field everything happens these days)

Last week i started training with my new coach. For the last 5 years i was trained by Regillio van der Vloot. he trained me for 6 years and made me the athlete i am today. But the last 3 years I had no progression. After this season i decided to switch coach because i think it was time for something new. And start all over. I've chosen to training at the Olympic trainingcenter(Papendal) with Wigert thunnise as my coach. He is a very experienced coach. And I believe that I will improve my personal best the coming years. Thats my main goal. and if I improve my personals bests i can go to the European championships in Barcelona(spain).
I also got some new training mates :D i'll introduce some of them

Giovanni: Giovanni has been my closest rival since 2004 he's a very good 100m runner placed sixt at the last european under 23 championships he's a good guy and i can make fun of him without getting hit lol. he also has good taste of phones. altough he always gets them after me :P

Esther: I known here for many years. she's made a lot of improvement the last years. she has become one of the top female sprinters in Holland. She's one of the hardest working athletes I know and i can learn a lot from her.

Loreanne: Is my little sister also know as lolo. Lorri, and Allyson(because she walks like Allyson Felix and she also has the same body type. she looks sweet but don't let the looks fool you :P . And she's one of the most Talented female sprinters ever.

Gregor: Gregor is the quiet one and very very talented. if he stays injuryfree he will be one of the best runners. he's running for 3 years.

Annemiek: One of the funniest girls I know. If she stays healthy it's gotta be a name to remember. I sure remember it already

Anouk: if she get's everything right in a race it's over. and very funny(is er nog bier!!!?) and number 3 in europe at 4x100m

Bram: the fastest under 18 runner ever at 200meters and placed fourth at this years European youth olympic festival.

Yael: I'm still getting to know her. She has a very good pb at 100m. and was part of the 4x100m junior relay team that won a bronze medal at the european juniors championships. And she has a very nice accent.

kaira: I'm still getting to know her. she has a very good pb at 400 meters and is very smart(and knowledge is power :)
